"SUNS ON THE WHITECAPS" The ball of the sun is high above the ocean and the wavelets dance in its reflection. The light plays tricks on a traveler's vision and the images take on myriad shapes and colors resembling amber shaded glass beads and orange dyed wooden spheres. Sometimes even unusual geometric patterns appear in what can only be a sun-drenched illusion. Well, that orange prose might sound OK in one of those pirate romances, but it goes better as a description of "Suns on the Whitecaps" --or how about "Sons on the Whitecaps"--now that's a name for a novel novel.
