| "CAPTAIN CONFETTI-BEARD" Watch out, mates. Here be another one of those PP tales that has absolutely no point. But we go at them anyway. There was once a pirate who really wanted to be an actor--or is it an actor who really wanted to be a pirate? Either way, he was very good at it. But life as a wild romping rover called the loudest, and he had to limit his career to his nautical sequels--he's up to three at the moment. Now, being a bit of an eccentric fop, he was dismayed to discover that fancy clothing and off-the-wall piracy didn't really mix. He was far from the gentleman pirate of fancy; he yearned from afar after the garb of Sir Henry Morgan. But his ship was tattered and so was its sometime captain. Now "Jack," as we shall call him to avoid any unfortunate comparison with real names, commissioned a shaman to craft a set of long dreadlocks (probably made of something we'd rather not know about) attached to a bandana. Everytime "Jack" entered into an adventure, he popped the theatrical hair on his head and sashayed on deck. But that was not enough. Although his beard was not of the thick, rich kind, he did manage a few colorful beads attached to the strands. Soon his fellows were calling him "Confetti-Beard." It is with him in mind that we dedicate this neckpiece. The discerning observer will notice first the multi-colored glass beads. Note that the monkey's fist has two bead drops, much in the style of our hero. Also, to celebrate his success, as he would call it, as a pirate, we have included four small carved bone skulls--the fourth to celebrate the sure-to-be sequel to his adventures. Since we are sure--or fairly so--that you have not chosen to string beads to your chin hair, we have made this so it will go safely over your head. Clever notion, what?!
