| PiRATE PRiMiTiVE NEW Swashbuckler! SKULLS! Neckpiece # N220 |
| "ATLAS UNPLUGGED" The name and the following are the result of knotting and typing all day: You see, the large Japanese Ojime skull represents the guy who is holding up the earth (that's the unusual wood bead on his head). Now, as you can see by his expression, "earth holder" isn't the kind of career in which you strive to excell when you're all grown up. But in this version, help arrives in the form of a big, brawny planet who saw Atlas' struggles and came to support our hero! (That's the big monkey's fist, known to his friends as Uranus.) Here, he's in the process of unplugging Atlas from his weighty chore. (Of course, in the next nano-second gravity takes its toll and...well, you can figure it out.) This is a neckpiece, not a belt, but the fancy wood and glass beads could be asteroids ("Roids to their friends), either coming to help, or attracted by the gravity. With the sliding bead (er, space rock) it can be expanded up to 36" not counting the 4 1/2" Atlas drop. (Maybe this should have been called "Atlas Dropped." Help!) Now what, you may wonder, has all this to do with pirates? We have no idea, but this wonderous piece cried out for a long bone fide. Seriously, this is one of the Pirate Primitive prides and sells for $42.00. Put it on after you buckle your swash for safety's sake. N220 |
