Perhaps it might have sailed all the way from the Barbary Coast, or maybe the California Gold Coast (after the gold had been used up). We know, of course. But why spoil the mystery. We can rave about the striking artglass drops, the red glass beads with inlaid millefiore, the matching pony beads, the hand-dyed nylon dark red and green cord, or the token monkey's fist in the center drop.
