| PiRATE PRiMiTiVE NEW Mac's Picks Neckpiece #N266 "EROS CON PIRATE" One day a beautiful young man came aboard ship just before we were to set sail, asking if he could sign on. The bo'sun laughed and sent him on his way as as this would-be pirate didn't look like he could lift a spoon, let alone a cannonball. But Mac was nearby (and the Captain wasn't) and immediately called him back, enchanted by the fey, stunning young man. She signed him on, although she didn't know why, and told him to stay out of the way of the Captain until they were well away from shore. To her surprise, the Captain seemed delighted when they met and soon became more attentive to Mac, which seemed impossible as they were a well-matched pair. Although at first the crew laughed at the delicate young man, he proved himself well. And, it was not long before they noticed that every ship they captured, every town where they docked for supplies or sacking or both, indeed, their every contact with others seemed to lead to romance. Soon each sailor had more than one girl in every port, and totally forgot about pirating. The sea turtles, which had been brought along for food and kept in the hold took over the ship, started procreating and studying martial arts. Eros' neckpiecs is mostly green (lighter than the pictures show) and reflects the wonders of the Caribbean deep. Stunning milleflore round beads combine with Mac-Mangled (Mac's term) green wooden beads distressed to give the effect of sea growth. Vintage small green beads of unknown origin accent the colors. And, of course, there are the monkey's fists. They are about 1 1/4" inches across. The main part is 20 1/2" round and fastens with a metal "faux fist" and a loop. The center drop is 4" and the cord is green nylon pot dyed. Just the thing to show a lady pirate's declotte.
