Well, it would be grand to say we were off on a world tour.  Actually, we could say it, but it wouldn't be true--at least for a year or more.  We are "On Leave," Skeleton Crew and all, until Mallory recovers from what should be a nasty back surgery and, although the two of us hope to record at home, that will be the best we can manage for awhile.

Meanwhile, we have PiRATE PRiMiTiVE, what we consider a really exciting project.  Based on theatrical costumes, historical pictures and our own off-beat imagination, we have created a line of M&Mc hand made body adornments, mostly neckpieces, but we even have a swell series for the ship's cat.  Most all feature sinnet and monkey fist work and or skulls and other nautical/piratical/Caribbean themes.  But why write more of what you can find on our sub-site,
www.MalloryandMcCall.com/PiratePrimitive. Give it a look and give us your feedback.

Jan has finally got a Finale music writing program which allows her to write what she's always hoped for just about any instrument that can read notes.  Her first project is some samples for Mitcheal Toles' "Captain Bluebeard" movie.  What fun writing full scores and then hear them coming back rich and full without having to hire the LA Phil!!  Hopefully you'll be hearing the score (and, of course, seeing the film) soon.  Watch for it.  Out now is Mad-Eye Mitch's "Pirates of Ghost Island."  You can hear our "Derelict (Dead Man's Chest)" as the out music.

So that's it for a while.  We'll be back, that is for sure!  Don't ya forget it!
