Kings of the Sea
by Mallory & McCall

Through stormy seas with waves running high,
Proudly our Black Flag flies.
Soon, “Sail, Ahoy!” the keen lookout cries,
Loud ‘neath the sullen skies.
Crouch’d on the deck we bold lads know
In but a moment we’ll meet a foe.
If death should bring our wat’ry grave
We ken we have liv’d the life free and brave.

Now ‘cross their bow hear our twelve-pounder fire,
Exploding with warning: “Tis danger most dire!”
For Quarters they swear, but death’s in the air!
Our Roger grins high, prize ship beware!
They try to resist, but hopelessly fail,
We will not desist, we always prevail.
For dauntless are we, Pirates we be,
No one is safe from the Kings of the Sea!

Where be our prize when all is won?
Still waters show no sign.
We serv’d them death; and their ship is done
Gone down beneath the brine.
They pled for mercy, we gave none,
Mix’d with blue billows red blood did run!
We’ve gold galore for hell ashore,
Then Kings of the Sea, we’ll find riches more.

For again and again will our twelve-pounders scream,
Secure in its warning: “Yea, this is no dream!”
Each new prize will swear, as death fills the air!
Still Rogers grins high, his snap brings despair!
They try to resist, but hopelessly fail,
We will not desist, we always prevail.
For dauntless are we, Pirates we be,
No one is safe from the Kings of the Sea!

In a wild attempt to let you hear some of the rough drafts of the music we are putting together for our two new CDs, we have recklessly opened some MySpace websites.  A click on the skull takes you to the Skeleton Crew Pirate Band. The Janus Company Radio Theatre songs can be accessed by the  duel faces; and M&Mc are behind their rather grumpy vissages.  They just had a Dingbat yell during a song.  Try at your own risk..  It;'s kinda fun.  NEW:  Kings of the Sea MySpace.
